DISSOLVED AIR FLOTATION UNIT
Clarifies wastewater by removal of suspended matter such as oil or solids. It works on the principle of dissolving air in the water/wastewater under pressure and subsequently releasing it at atmospheric pressure in a basin. This leads to the formation of minute bubbles which adhere to the suspended matter causing them to float on the surface of water, which can be skimmed off and removed.
